Mister Madder’s backyard walkway gate had a hinge tear loose from the fence. He needed a new hinge installed, and the gate reattached.
The hinge and the post around it were badly rusted, and a few other points along that side of the steel gate were also close. We scraped off the rust and welded on some patches over the weakest spots. We then cut off the remains of the hinge, welded on a replacement while holding the gate up on jacks, and then reinstalled it.
